Acrylic on canvas, 12x16"

The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with a string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is, or can be framed if you prefer.

I like the bold and strong colours of sunflowers and wanted to use these to paint a striking picture.  For such a simple looking flower, the more I looked at the centre of the flower, the more complex I realised its structure was.
