The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with a string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is, or can be framed if you prefer.

We were on the side of a hill in Wales and the weather was cold and drizzling. I had caught a nasty cold and was feeling ill. Despite being in a very bad mood, this view caught my eye as being something I needed to photograph and paint later.
