The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with a string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is, or can be framed if you prefer.

La Clusaz can be covered in snow in winter skiing season, sunny in the summer, or wet and glistening, like on the rainy summer day when we visited. Either way, it is a village full of character. I've painted it with a bit of texture to give it a more dramatic atmosphere and I liked the way the reds stood out against the grey day.
