The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with a string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is, or can be framed if you prefer.

My family like to get in the water wherever we go, if it's safe, so we stopped here for a while to have a picnic and swim in the (very cold!) water. It was a tranquil and beautiful place for sketching too, which fixes it in the mind for painting later.
