The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is or can be framed if you prefer.

Peacocks are beautiful even when they aren't displaying their feathers. In this painting I focussed on the head and front of the body. I also enjoyed painting colour variations in the wall behind.
