The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is or can be framed if you prefer.

On our visit to the Outer Hebrides, one of my main feelings was of peace and stillness, especially while watching the sun go down. The colours change quickly and I felt I wanted to capture a perfect moment in time with the colours at their most beautiful.
