Reflections on wet sand look really beautiful at special moments when the lighting is just right and the clouds are interesting shapes.  The sun was low but not setting, and the sky was a deep blue. The clouds floated in a still sky and were reflected in the water left on the beach as the sea went out. The beach was like a mirror and the wetness made it look varnished.

The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with a string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is, or can be framed if you prefer.
