The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with a string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is, or can be framed if you prefer.

Surreal face painting involving a bird, a worm, fishes, flowers and a snake. All in shades of Paynes grey, black and white. I came up with the invention and design while doing drawing practice on the ipad and liked it enough to create it in paint on canvas. I wanted the sections to link to each other and flow around the canvas, so the bird is feeding the fish with a worm and the mouth forms a leaf, with other leaves falling around it. The snake links the top right hand corner with the bottom left. The nose turns into a vase containing flowers.
