The painting is on a stretched canvas, painted round the sides, with string on the back, so it is ready to hang as it is or can be framed if you prefer.

We visited this place in the spring, with nature bursting into life with new greenery. The feeling of life and new colour made me think of Van Gogh's paintings, so I tried to paint the scene in his sort of style, exaggerating the curves of the shapes a bit and using strong colours.
