We walked a long way to try to get close to this waterfall in Wales. There were no regular paths leading to it so we fought our way through tall bracken and brambles in the rain, wondering whether we were a bit mad. When we saw it though, its beauty was breathtaking and it seemed worth it. The wet weather made the colours deeper and shinier and the water wilder. It is the sort of dramatic natural landscape which I love to paint.
