You do not have to look far to find inspiration for art, and this is especially true in my beautiful home city of Worcester. Worcester itself is famous for its magnificent cathedral, next to the River Severn with its large swan sanctuary. Worcester bridge is a distinctive feature and looks wonderful when it is lit up at night. These things have been subjects for some of my paintings as well as other places in Worcestershire. We have some very nice countryside nearby and I also enjoy visiting Worcester Society of Artists and occasionally exhibit with them eg in Worcester City Art Gallery, The Hive and in the Cathedral.
